In the afternoon session we showed the documentation “In Comparison” by Harun Faroki about bricks - producing and using them in different parts of the world. Our topic for the evening Open Forum lectures was Public Urban Spaces & Accessibility. The three lecturers by Christiano Lepratti about Slow Space, by Prof. Guendalina Salimei about Sensitive limits. Vertical labyrinths and Jan Gehl about People City=Sustainable City focused on the qualities of public spaces and his relevance for a lively and attractive city. For the development of sustainable cities it is not enough to anly buildĀ  energy-efficient buildings. The approvement of the public spaces for pedestrians and bicycles, a good public transport system as well as the density and accessability of the city are the main key-factors.
